Approaching 40s (Well, this is a reminder 2 years in advance. :D)

Hi me, 

I'm not sure if there's another soul reading this posting. ^_^
But if there is, then let me great you with the most beautiful greeting that happen to be said in Jannah too -  Assalamu'alaikum- peace be upon you. 😀

Every time we say ‘Assalamu’alaikum,’ we are spreading peace in this world and practicing the greeting that we will also share in Paradise.

A small act in the present, yet a blessed one that echoes in the hereafter.

(I started to write this post in the morning, then I got to respond to other things.. searching other topics.. then I came back here.. hihi)

So what my hidden agenda/ motive to do this posting. 

I think, the first reason is because it has been consider almost TWO years I'm not giving any words here..hihi.

Today almost end of 2025, and my last posting was on 2023..

About my "Exponential Learning Graph" , I'm still learning.. but Alhamdulillah, with Allah guide.. I've made a positive progress !  (Hehe.. well..let me recognize myself achievement..)

So, if the previous posting was last 2 years, so this the new one..

This year, I vow to myself to capture the meaningful videos, pictures, and words I share on my WhatsApp status, so I can revisit and reflect on them later

(Okey that one I'm going to post in early Jan 2026 ya.. hope I keep this promise..
Because let me compile it until end Dec 2025 )

This compilation is actually to make myself reflect and somehow re-remind myself with what that I already knew.. but may be forgot, and not really practice yet..

As I approach my 40s, I’ve realized that there are so many basic, everyday terms we think we already understand. But, masyaAllah… when we truly revisit them, we uncover their deeper meaning, the core reason, and the beliefs behind them.

Often, we not fully understand, or we’ve forgotten and seeing it only at the surface.


Last nite, I've attended usrah that talk about Ummul Hadith, Hadis ke-2 dalam Matan

Arba'in An-Nawawiyah. Ia juga dikenali sebagai Hadis Jibril. Hadis ini agak panjang

dan membincangkan 3 asas utama dalam Islam iaitu Islam, Iman dan Ihsan.

The basic 6 rukun Islam, 5 rukun Iman.. we know what it is, but the reflections that really need to be done DAILY.

Please help yourself to read this hadith, InsyaAllah..

Please read it by remembering that.. that's what had been said by our most beloved Rasullullah , Nabi Muhammad.. The one that will provide us syafaat to enter Jannah, The one that make du'a to us as his ummati.. The one that loves us.

Juga daripada Umar RA, beliau berkata: 

Ketika kami sedang duduk di sisi Rasulullah SAW pada suatu hari, tiba-tiba muncul di hadapan kami seorang lelaki yang sangat putih bajunya, sangat hitam rambutnya, tidak kelihatan padanya tanda-tanda perjalanan jauh, dan tiada seorangpun di antara kami yang mengenalinya, sehingga dia duduk di hadapan Rasulullah SAW. Lalu dia merapatkan lututnya ke lutut Rasulullah SAW dan meletakkan dua tapak tangannya di atas dua pahanya.

Dia segera berkata, 

“Wahai Muhammad, ceritakan kepadaku tentang Islam.”

 Lalu Rasulullah SAW menjawab, “Islam itu ialah kamu menyaksikan bahawa tiada Tuhan yang disembah melainkan Allah dan Muhammad adalah Pesuruh Allah, kamu mendirikan Solat, mengeluarkan Zakat, dan menunaikan Haji jika kamu mampu mengerjakannya.” Lelaki itu berkata, “Benarlah kamu!” Kami merasa hairan terhadapnya, dia bertanya dan dia juga yang membenarkannya.

Lelaki itu berkata lagi,

“Ceritakan kepadaku tentang Iman.”

Lalu Baginda SAW bersabda, “Bahawa kamu beriman kepada Allah, para Malaikat-Nya, Kitab-kitab-Nya, Rasul-rasul-Nya, Hari Kiamat dan kamu beriman dengan ketentuan Baik dan Buruk-Nya.” Lelaki itu berkata, “Benarlah kamu!” 

Dia berkata lagi,

 “Ceritakan kepadaku tentang Ihsan.” 

Lalu Baginda SAW menjawab, “Bahawa kamu beribadah kepada Allah seolah-olah kamu melihatnya. Jika kamu tidak melihatnya, sesungguhnya Allah melihat kamu.” 

Dia berkata lagi, 

“Ceritakan kepadaku tentang Hari Kiamat.”

 Lalu Baginda SAW menjawab, “”Yang ditanya tidaklah lebih tahu daripada yang bertanya.”

Lelaki itu berkata lagi, 

“Ceritakan kepadaku tentang tanda-tandanya.” 

Lalu Baginda menjawab, “Apabila hamba perempuan melahirkan tuannya. Dan apabila kamu melihat orang yang tidak berkasut, tidak berbaju, miskin dan pengembala kambing berlumba-lumba membina bangunan.”

Kemudian lelaki itu berlalu dan aku berdiam sebentar,

Kemudian Baginda (Rasulullah) bertanya: “ Tahukah engkau siapa yang bertanya ?”. aku berkata: “ Allah dan Rasul-Nya lebih mengetahui “.

Sabda Rasulullah SAW, “Sesungguhnya dia adalah Jibril. Dia datang untuk mengajar kamu tentang ad-Din kamu.”

(HR Muslim)

During the usrah Naqibah Quwwatun Hafizah.. we call her "Quwwat" ^_^.. 
She told and asked us, several questions that really make us to think and ponder.

1. Hadith ni dinamakan Ummul Hadith (Kalau quran, Ummul Quran : Surah AlFatihah)
2. Hadith ni berlaku  tidak lama sebelum kewafatan Baginda. (Sangat penting hadith yang mungkin biasa bagi kita)
3. Q : Why on Ihsan, Jibril not mentioned “Benarlah kamu!” ?
4. Q : What is missing when a nation that even the basic is not proper complete, but suddenly  focus on berlumba-lumba membina bangunan.?

Here's the explanation. 

For no. 3, Jibril not validate what Rasulullah said about Ihsan, because Jibril don't know what it feel to not see Allah, because Jibril can see Allah directly. 

The Ihsan actually being thought in Tasawuf knowledge . :)

For no. 4 , the missing component that we might think is mindset, how they perceived success only on materials and buildings instead the importance of well being is not just materials. So towards hari kiamat, people so into the materialistic belief. Innalillah..

Kupasan untuk "hamba perempuan melahirkan tuannya" , that's not much we can conclude, need to further study.

So when I'm Approaching 40s , I want to keep remind my self and improve within the MOST importance things. Which all that include in this Ummul hadith.

• Priorities is the key. 
• Know to ignore noise. 
• Conscious discipline to perform 5 rukun Islam
• Connection on 6 rukun Iman
• Be wasatiyyah
• Be inspired to be Ulul Albab. 
• Be inspired to be 'IbadurRahman
• Be inspired to be bold and clear like Ashabul Kahfi
• Believe in Allah like Musa story and all prophets story.

Somehow, it looks like I'm repeating the same topic what I had learn in kindergarten BUT now with more reflection and deeper connection to Allah..

May Allah bless and guide us always.
